What is BUTTer?
Originally designed as an all-natural, less expensive alternative to the ointments you find on a typical grocery store shelf, our formula is unscented AND cloth diaper friendly. (None of our customers have had any staining or repelling issues.) Our BUTTer is soothing for baby and also aids in the easy, smooth clean-up of dirty diapers.

I purchased the BUTT-er for my son who suffers from dry skin. Where we are from the winter seasons tend to be very dry.
I ordered the item on Friday night and by Saturday morning I had already received a shipping notice. The product shipped extremely fast!!!
I ordered the sampler package since I wasn’t sure which scent to get. All the scents were wonderful, my favourite is Lavender vanilla. I had to convince my son that the product was not juice and isn’t to be eaten.
I started out by using the product on my hands, I noticed that it absorbed into my skin well and that they were left feeling smooth. This made my brain start thinking up ideas of where else I could use it.
Here is what has worked for us so far:
Hair moisturizer/conditioner for dread locks
Body moisturizer that can be ran under hot water in the bath tub and used to soak in
Hand cream
Worked well on my hang nails and cracked hands
Great for reducing swelling
wind guarding on my sons cheeks
I would love to try it for postpartum or hemorrhoid recovery, since it reduces inflammation, speeds healing, and reduces pain

I love CJ’s BUTTer!! I get ours lightly scented with Oatmeal and Honey (usually) but love all the scents I’ve tried. Warm Vanilla Cake is good enough to eat!!!!!!!
This stuff is magic — I use it on my daughter’s skin after every bath and haven’t seen a single eczema patch in months now (it is almost March!) I love to pamper myself by using it after shaving as well. =-)

Hi! I just wanted to tell you that I the butt-er, but that we also found another use for it! We were visiting my parents last week and my mom just had a knee replacement three weeks ago. Her incision has healed but the scar area has very sensitive, dry, itchy skin. She had been using regular lotion, but the doc said she needed to use something with vitamin E. So I gave her one of my sample jars to use. She LOVES it! And, she told the doctor about it and he said that he would definitely recommend it because her scar healed so quickly! Just thought you might like to know!

This product is amazing. My baby girl is 4 weeks old and I have been using a dab of the unscented tub of butter with every diaper change for a couple of weeks. I use cloth diapers and she was beginning to have a very irritated patch of skin on her bottom that CJ’s butter has remarkably soothed and alleviated. Thank you!
